We are introducing the new LAMBDA 250Kcamera. Each camera uses 4 Medipix3RX chips (sometimes called a quad) for a combined total of 512x512 pixels. It comes with high speed imaging capability and 55 micron resolution. A full range of Silicon, GaAs and CdTe sensors without any gaps or dead area is available, covering the energy range from 5 keV to 100 keV. What is LAMBDA?
LAMBDA (Large Area Medipix-Based Detector Array) is a photon-counting pixel detector system based on the Medipix3 readout chip, with a small pixel size (55µm) and high speed, deadtime-free readout. A single LAMBDA module has 1536 x 512 pixels, and multiple modules can be tiled to cover a large area.
